Hello from the Owner
Hi There! I am Zachariah and the owner of Fine Lyne. I’ve always had a love for metal. Its strength, its history, and the way it transforms under fire and focus. After earning certifications in welding and blacksmithing, I opened a fabrication shop where I built everything from railings to sculptures. I took pride in every project, but one request changed everything.
A former client came in one day and asked, “Can you build me a still?” I said yes because challenge is where craft grows. That single question sent me deep into the world of distilling. I spent two years learning everything I could about still design, spirit quality, and the science behind it all.
That first still felt different. It brought together everything I loved: precision, tradition, and storytelling through metal. So I pivoted fully, closed my shop, and dedicated myself to building custom stills for distillers who care as deeply as I do.
Now, I work closely with makers who value quality, purpose, and performance because a great still should do more than run. It should reflect the spirit of the person behind it.
