Hello from the Owner
Hi There! I am Zachariah and the owner of Fine Lyne. I’ve always had a love for metal. Its strength, its history, and the way it transforms under fire and focus. After a decade of custom fabrication and apprenticeship, I opened a fabrication shop where I built everything from railings to sculpture. I took pride in every project, but one request changed everything.
A former client came in one day and asked, “Can you build me a still?” I said yes because challenge is where craft grows. That single question sent me deep into the world of distilling. I spent two years learning everything I could about still design, spirit quality, coppersmithing, and the science behind it all.
That first still felt different. It brought together everything I loved: precision, tradition, and storytelling through metal and liquid. So I pivoted fully, closed my shop of ten years, and dedicated myself to building custom stills for distillers who care as deeply as I do.
I build stills because I love turning metal into flavor. The shop goes quiet when copper warms and the first drip hits the parrot. That moment is why I care about every curve and joint.
